Bubbles & Blooms

What a joy it was to welcome so many flower lovers to our recent workshop! We had friends join us from near and far - some driving in from Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor, while others were familiar faces from our local community here in Marshall. It's always heartwarming to see people come together over a shared passion for beautiful blooms.

Nothing says 'celebration' quite like the pop of a Prosecco cork and the sight of vibrant dahlias. As we sipped our bubbly, the room filled with excited chatter and the sweet fragrance of flowers. It set the perfect mood for a day of creativity and learning.

The main event of our workshop was learning to create European hand-tied bouquets. Each participant got to design their own, and oh my, were the results stunning! It was amazing to see how everyone's unique personality shone through in their arrangements. Some went for bold and dramatic, while others opted for soft and romantic.

We were so fortunate to have Jenn Ederer leading our workshop. With 20 years of floral design experience under her belt, Jenn is a true master of her craft. In addition to the hand-tied bouquet, she also demonstrated ideas for larger table arrangements utilizing found greenery that would be perfect for special occasions or just to brighten up your dining room. And who knew that a few well-placed blooms could transform a simple charcuterie board into a showstopper? We all left with so many new ideas to try at home.

If you enjoyed this workshop (or if you missed out this time), we'd love to see you at our next one. Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time to bring the beauty of nature to your table, and we can't wait to share some festive floral ideas with you.

Whether you're a floral design newbie or a seasoned pro, our workshops are a great way to learn new skills, meet fellow flower lovers, and spend a delightful day surrounded by beauty. We'd be thrilled to have you join us for our Thanksgiving workshop. It's sure to be a blooming good time!
