Parrot Tulips

These fascinating, twisted little beauties are bringing us all so much joy this spring! Did you know that parrot tulips, found in our garden, are children of the nuclear age in the 1970s? Growers used to apply radiation to their fields to mutate Holland’s best beyond recognition! Obviously, we’re a little wiser now and growers can propagate them using less dramatic techniques.
